We see the Town centre, prominant buildings, and tragedies, including the Plaza fire, which destroyed this beautiful building in 1996.
We meet Laurel and Hardy. In 1932 they stayed for one night at the Grand Hotel in Percy Gardens.
We also visit the Tynemouth outdoor swimming pool and see day trippers enjoying themselves.
We also see images very rarely seen that give an insight into how tynemouth once looked.
